Our Philosophy

Our professionals at The Physiotherapy Professionals pride themselves on their high-quality one-on-one patient care. Our physiotherapists utilize advanced manual therapy assessment and treatment techniques to rehabilitate injuries. The primary approach to client care focuses on getting to the root of the problem to optimize healing and reduce pain. Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy are both key tools to help individuals eliminate or manage their pain.

What is Manual Physiotherapy?

Manual Physiotherapy is a hands-on, problem-solving approach to patient assessment and rehabilitation. Manual Physiotherapy involves assessing and treating restrictions found throughout the body by using specific hands-on techniques. This helps to improve joint movement, reduce muscle tightness and reduce pain.

Why Choose a Manual Physiotherapist?

Manual Physiotherapists have advanced skills using their hands to assess and treat various complex joint and muscle problems. At The Physiotherapy Professionals, we pride ourselves in being among 10% of Physiotherapists Certified in Advanced Manual/Manipulative Therapy in Canada. Many of our Physiotherapists have completed extensive post-graduate courses and examinations in order to become Fellows of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). The Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy’s (CAMPT) role is in the advancement of manual therapy practice, education and research within Canada. A Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT) is a Physiotherapist who is dedicated in advancing their hands- on clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of complex muscle and joint problems.
